Product Description
Slate is part of this land. It emerges from hillsides and creates the towering walls of long abandoned quarries in this part of Wales. The blue-grey and green-grey colours of the stone contrast with the yellow gorse and autumnal bracken. In places, the brackens have turned to red tones as the season draws towards winter and the temperatures drop. Blankets of soft cloud keep the greens alive for long enough for them to create a tapestry of colour across the hills. The gentle light plays softly across the landscape.
