Carol Pairaudeau has a formal art education with a BA (Fine Art) and an MA (Art & Design) from Loughborough University. Her recent work brings together her experience of painting and printmaking. She combines different media and techniques in search of new and interesting results. Carol finds inspiration in the close observation of her surroundings, whether that is near home or further afield. However, it is in the familiar rural landscape of Leicestershire, that she find a calm and quiet beauty.
Carol’s work has been selected for prestigious gallery open exhibitions across the UK, most recently the Tarpey Gallery Open. In addition to developing her own practice, Carol enjoys sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with others and offer printmaking tuition and workshops. Presently, she is conducting a programme of printmaking sessions in a select group of workshop venues.
