Product Description
David Poxon RI – Watercolour Mastery two day workshop is a must for any watercolour artists who love painting textured images. Painting in pure watercolour medium, David uses a multi glazing technique, with up to 20 layers of transparent paint, each in turn delicately modulating the colours beneath.
He doesn’t use white paint in any of his works. Instead, David prefers to preserve areas of the natural paper, and his paintings can take many weeks to complete.
Spend two days working with David. Learn his technique for creating richly coloured textured watercolour paintings.
David Poxon RI – Watercolour Mastery: What you will get from this workshop
In this two-day workshop, we will use pure watercolour to create images of aged items and weathered metals and wood. David will provide reference material and step by step tutoring to enable attendees to understand how to achieve wonderful depth of colour and details of textures – all using only pure watercolour.
David will guide you through the process of building layers of colour to increase the intensity and depth of your watercolour paintings.
The workshop will equip you with the tools and experience to recreate the enriched effects David will teach you. During the two days you will be given the knowledge to be able to layer watercolour without creating muddy colours. You will work with a range of tools and materials to create varied textures and effects.
This workshop is suitable for artists of all levels. David’s tutoring expertise ensures that everyone gets the attention they need to learn his techniques correctly.
