Painting in the Flower Farm

Join us for a glorious day painting in the flower farm.  

When: Wednesday 21st June, 2023 (10am to 4pm)

Venue: The Midnight Garden, Stapleford (Directions will be provided after booking)

Have you ever wanted to paint surrounded by the glorious colours and scents of a flower farm? This is your opportunity. The floral fields of The Midnight Garden Flower Farm in Stapleford are a secret delight. Cathy has a passion for British cut flowers.  Choose between painting swathes of colour, secluded flower beds, or just focus on individual blooms.

Painting in a flower farm: what to expect

Watercolour or dry media are recommended for ease of use, but you can bring other mediums to work in.  Vandy will facilitate the day and lead a warm up exercise for those who want a guided jump start into their painting process. She then provide individual guidance for those who are working in watercolour.

Please note: There are no toilet facilities on the flower farm but we will walk the five minutes down to Stapleford Granary for a lunch break in their cafe. (lunch cost not included in the painting day fee)

Tea and coffee will be available through the day of painting in the flower farm. You will need to bring you own packed lunch if you don’t wish to come to the Granary for lunch
