Looking up from the bottom of the gorge at the Kondolilla Falls National Park, in Queensland, you get a sight of the soaring trees that race for the light. The scale of the tree-lined walls of rock is majestic in its enormity. The Land of Rushing Water casts it’s spell.

Soaring – mixed media painting uses liquid charcoal as a primary medium for its organic granular texture.  The breaks of virbant green and blue watercolour echo the hues of foliage and sky. Sweeping brushstrokes emphasise the untamed nature of this wild environment .
