Janine Gallizia

Born in Australia, Janine Gallizia began drawing the day she discovered crayons. In 1995 she moved to London where she worked as a designer creating clothing and logos for companies such as Harley Davidson, Honda, Martini, IBM, Fosters etc. In 1997, at the age of 25, she left London to join her husband-to-be in Belgium and began working as a full time watercolourist. With a limited palette, she concentrates mostly on creating different atmospheres and lighting effects. Janine exhibits her work 2 or 3 times a year in Belgium, France, Australia, Canada etc. As an instructor her courses are followed with great interest all over Belgium. Each year she participates in various competitions around the world and has already won numerous prizes during her short career. Janine is an Elected member of : – The European Institute of Watercolour (Belgium) – The Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour (Toronto, Canada) and an Associate member of : – The National Watercolor Society (California, USA) – Watercolour West (California, USA) – The American Watercolor Society (New York, USA
