Purchasing and shipping
I want your painting purchase to be a joyful experience.
If you have any questions about information that isn’t covered here, please get in touch at [email protected]
The painting is represented as accurately as possible on the website. However, there are slight differences in the colour shown on computer screens depending on their make and settings. Any difference in perception between the online images represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and will not be a valid reason for return.
Ordering
How is my payment handled?
Payments are processed through Stripe in British Pounds Sterling. Any credit card information is handled securely by Stripe. I do not hold any card information.
Shipping
When will I receive my order?
I ship weekly, so your painting will be packed and sent within five working days of your order. If you need a painting on a specific date, please email me before you place your order so we can ensure your order can reach you on time. Orders for addresses in the UK are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier, tracked and signed for on a 48-hour service. If, for any reason, this isn’t possible, I will contact you by email or telephone to let you know and discuss alternatives. If you require a faster service, there may be some additional charges.
How is the shipping cost calculated?
The shipping cost is calculated and shown during the checkout process. The calculation is based on your delivery address, using the Parcel Force published figures, plus a small charge for packaging materials.
Can I collect my order from your studio?
Yes, you can. If you live locally to Cambridge and have a CB or SG postcode, you will be offered the Local Pickup option at check out. I may be able to drop a painting off for you in this area, depending on where you are. Please email me to arrange delivery or collection date and time, or if you live outside these areas but would still like to collect work.
Do you ship internationally?
The costs for shipping orders outside the UK have risen significantly in recent years. I can ship to most places, but it will take longer to arrive than UK deliveries. Orders for delivery to locations outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes depending on the laws of the destination country. Any duties, tax, or other additional charges associated with shipping are at the customer’s expense. I accept no responsibility for additional charges.
Returns
UK returns
If an original painting or print is not as you expect, you can request a refund of the artwork cost within 14 days. To make this request, contact me by email. The shipping cost is not refundable. Once we have agreed on a return of the artwork, packing and shipping the artwork back to me is your responsibility. Once I receive the piece in the saleable condition, I will refund your payment within 14 days. Please insure your return package. I can only make a refund if the item is in the same condition as it was when I shipped it to you.
Overseas returns
I am unable to offer a refund or return on any order sent outside of the UK.
Damaged in transit
We take great care to protect your artwork for shipping. However, even with the best packaging, items can sometimes be damaged in transit. If this happens to your order, please send me a photograph of the packaging and the item damage within seven days of receiving the order.
Anything else….
I want you to be thrilled with your purchase
It is important to me that you are happy with your painting and the buying process. If you have any further questions, email me your query before placing your order.
